Tulsa Republican Club and Women For Tulsa to Host Major Republican Primary Debate Series for Statewide and Local Offices Ahead of June Election

Multi-event debate series to provide Oklahoma voters direct access to candidates shaping the state’s future

TULSA, Okla. (February 11, 2026) — The Tulsa Republican Club and Women For Tulsa is pleased to announce they will partner to host a major series of Republican Primary debates this spring featuring candidates seeking statewide and local office ahead of Oklahoma’s June Republican primary election.

The debate series will include candidates running for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and Tulsa County District Attorney, offering Republican voters in Tulsa County and surrounding areas an opportunity to hear directly from those seeking to lead the state and its largest county justice system. The Gubernatorial, Lieutenant Governor, State Superintendent and Tulsa County District Attorney debates will be moderated by KRMG Morning Host Skyler Cooper, while the Attorney General debate will be moderated by GableGotwals Shareholder Adam Doverspike.

Participation in the lieutenant governor and state superintendent debates will be limited to the top three candidates while participation in the gubernatorial debate will be limited to the top 4. All debate selection is based on independent polling and/or financial benchmarks, ensuring Republican voters hear from the most competitive campaigns shaping each race. Final participants will be announced at later dates.

Two candidates have currently announced for the Attorney General and Tulsa County District Attorney races and have been invited to participate. Additional qualifying candidates may be included if further filings occur.

Organizers say the debates are designed to promote transparency, civic engagement, and informed voter participation by providing a public forum for candidates to discuss policy priorities, leadership vision, and the issues facing Oklahoma communities.

“These debates will give voters an unprecedented opportunity to hear directly from the candidates seeking to lead Oklahoma at a critical time for our state,” said Charity Marcus, Chair of the Tulsa Republican Club. “From education and public safety to economic growth and government accountability, the decisions made in these races will shape Oklahoma’s future for years to come. Our goal is to provide a fair, informative, and accessible platform that helps voters make confident and informed choices at the ballot box.”

“An informed electorate is essential to a strong democracy,” said a Founder and Chair of Women For Tulsa. “This debate series reflects our commitment to increasing civic participation and ensuring voters have meaningful access to the candidates and the issues impacting families, communities, and the future of our state. We are proud to partner in hosting a forum that encourages thoughtful discussion and public engagement.”
